Liddlefishdoctor I just have one question. If I have fish, how will I clean the gravel. I use a siphon for my other tanks, but wouldn’t that stir up the base layer of “completesubstrate”???

A substrate heater, isn’t necessary, just have a normal one. Don’t use tetra substrate use Tropica much better.

Change 15 percent of the water each month and put a little chlorine remover in the water before entering it into the tank or immediately after because chlorine is harmful to the entire ecosystem in the tank. You must change water. You will kill everything if you dont. Water evaporates but minerals and waste dont. The minerals will build up as you keep topping off the water and you will see this because the top dry glass will form a mineral white film.
