Small finches with delicate claws, will get there toes stuck in between the slats and in their struggle to free themselves will damage it’s legs and wings. I do NOT recommend this product. I’ve lost 2 Gouldian’s in 3 months. Stick with the grass nests — they don’t last as long and come apart easier, but won’t trap your finches either.
