I switched to this litter after I got concerned about my small children being exposed to potentially harmful substances in clay litter. Our house didn’t allow complete isolation of the litter box, and with a baby crawling around, I wanted to be extra cautious. I don’t know that there really is any danger to clay litters. This litter works great, though if the level gets too low, it can form its own version of concrete stuck to the bottom of the litter box. I also like that I can dispose of the litter outside (in an appropriate location) and not have to add it to the household garbage.

We have been using this litter for 2 years. It clumps very well, has no odour and is much better than clay based litters. Far less damaging to the environment. Our cat adapted very well to this litter and loves it.

I bought this at the store and tried it on my 4 cats, within a week and cleaning the litter every 2 days, small bugs appeared everywhere by the thousands.
