My new rescue dog had constant mushy stools. The vet treated him for worms even though he showed no signs of them, gave him antibiotics and prescription canned food. This is when I found out that it was dry food that caused his stomach problems. Dry food is much harder to digest than canned. I then found prozyme and it solved the problem. Wish I had tried it before I spent a fortune at the vet. Rawhide is especially hard to digest and would always bring back the diarrhea. Now after eating rawhide I give him a little prozyme and all is fine. It only takes 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per cup of food so a bottle lasts a long time. If you dog has stomach problems give it a try. I tried several other products and this is the first thing that worked.

Great Product!! My vet put my beagle on it a few months after we adopted him. He suffers from separation anxiety and starting having bloody poop. We tried different medications on him and nothing worked. My vet put him on Prozyme and within a couple of weeks it was gone. Almost a year later I had to cut back on the amount I gave him because I was running out. The bloody poop came back. Put him back on his regular amount and its gone again. Great product I will never run out of again!

  3. Prozyme works much better than any other brand of digestive enzyme for pets. My dog used to have CONSTANT gas, and it has been reduced by at least 85%.

  4. My 18 year old Siamese has suffered from severe intestinal problems for much of his life. 10 years ago he had to have an emergency colectomy, and thereafter lost more than half of his body weight. Diarrhea and vomiting were part of the daily routine. Recently a new vet started giving him Prozyme during what was supposed to be a hospice stay. After several days he began to respond and his improvement has been remarkable. No more throwing up. No more bowel problems. He has more energy and looks better than he has in years.

After approximately 6 months of my dog (lab) having inconsistent stools, (ranging from “normal” to diarhrea), going back and forth to the vet to figure out the medical cause, I was advised by a independent pet store owner that it might be the enzymes (or lack of) for the dog to digest the dry food.

I didn’t want to change the food at all to minimize the variables in the investigating of my dog’s digestive problems. The only thing we really introduced in change (after much trial and error) was Prozyme.

So I tried Prozyme. Prozyme solved my dog’s digestive problems. No more inconsistency. She has been on it for over 1 1/2 years adn since she has been using Prozyme with her food, she has had only 2 episodes of loose stool (diarhhrea) in the past 18 months. Before that it was 2-4 times a month.
